baby masterchef… a baby shower winner

It was my sister’s baby shower today, and 40 degrees in Sydney. The truth be known, I could have done with a shower myself! I was in charge of games, and I wanted to share my game triumph with you.
I called it “Baby Masterchef”. It was somewhat of at “taste test” for baby food. I had four pots. Each had a number. And four baby spoons. I spooned a small amount of each tub onto the back of the attendees hands (one at a time!) and they had to correctly list the ingredients. I told them how many ingredients were in each one. I was like Matt, George and Gary all rolled into one.
They key to this game was finding exotic baby food. I was amazed at what Coles had to offer. Tub 1 had “Spinach, broccoli, Apple and peas” tub 2 was a gourmet ‘Pumpkin, apple and sweetcorn”. Tub 3 would have been nice with a dash of white rum (Pear, banana and mango) as a dacquari, but tub 4 was a dud. It appears that Heinz organic oats with fig and sultanas tastes like nothing.
