BABY GIFT DELIVERY INFORMATION

Baby Gift Delivery Options:

 1. Free Next Business Day Delivery.

Next Business Day delivery is included in the cost of your baby gift. For orders placed before 1.00pm on a business day, we offer next business day delivery to the following locations:

Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle, Central Coast, Albury, Melbourne, Geelong, Wodonga, Bendigo, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Townsville, Mt Isa, Toowoomba, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Hobart, Launceston.
FOR ORDERS TO ALL OTHER DESTINATIONS, DELIVERY TIME WILL BE 1-3 DAYS

Please refer to the delivery information in pink at the  top of the screen, as it relates to all orders placed
 over a weekend and on/over public holidays.

2. Express Same Business Day Sydney Service

Babycupcakes offer a same business day service to certain areas of metropolitan Sydney for the additional costs listed below. Please note that orders must be placed before 1.00pm to be delivered that day.
Same day orders placed after 1.00pm on a Friday (or over the weekend/public holiday) will be sent out on Monday for delivery on Monday (or for delivery on the next business day in the event of a public holiday)

City, Inner West  $15 additional charge
Eastern Suburbs, North Sydney, Lower North Shore  $15 additional charge
St George, Sutherland Shire, Canterbury, Bankstown  $15 additional charge
Liverpool, Fairfield, Parramatta, Ryde, Hills District, Wahroongha, Northern Beaches  $25 additional charge
Campbelltown, Penrith, Hornsby, Palm Beach, Kellyville,   $35 additional charge

Please ensure that the delivery recipient will be at the address provided. Additional delivery charges will be incurred if the  baby gift needs to be re-directed.

3. Overseas Deliveries

Delivery of baby gifts to overseas destinations can be made one of two ways:

-Worldwide Post - $30 additional fee. Your gift will be sent via Australia Post and will be insured to the value of the baby gift you have selected. Delivery will be within 3-10 business days depending on the destination.

-Worldwide Courier - $50 additional fee. Express International Courier Service lets you track your  baby gift online to most destinations. Your baby gift will be delivered to the recipients door within 1-4 business days depending on the location.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

When deciding where to send you baby gift, please bear in mind that modern Mums often have a very brief stay in hospital after the birth of a baby. It sometimes makes more sense to have the baby gift delivered to a home address, or to your address so that you can deliver the baby gift personally yourself  (a great excuse for a cuddle!).

If you are delivering the baby gift to a hospital, please be sure to provide us with the name of the mother (not the baby!) and the room number where possible.

Upon placing your order, and once your gift has been sent out, you will be provided with a consignment
number so that you can track exactly when and where your gift is delivered, in real time.

AUTHORITY TO LEAVE

If you have given us authority to leave your gift, the parcel will be left on the delivery premises without our couriers obtaining a  “proof of delivery” signature. We do not accept liability for the theft of gifts left unattended, pursuant to your instructions. If there is nobody home at the delivery address and you have not given us authority to leave the parcel, a calling card will be left with details for collection on it.

DELIVERIES TO HOSPITALS OR BUSINESS ADDRESSES

Please note that when a delivery is ordered to a non-domestic address such as a business or hospital, deliveries must be made to a central delivery point such as a reception or mail room. We make it part of the terms and conditions for the service we provide, that we consider our part of the delivery process has been completed once your gift has been delivered to and signed for by a member of staff at the central delivery point.


RE-DIRECTION OF PARCELS

Once a gift has left our office, and been delivered in accordance with your instructions, and as per our delivery time frames, we accept no responsibility for the recollection of the baby gift and re-directing it to an alternate address. We will happily assist you to have the parcel re-directed, however redirections can take up to 3 business days and will incur and additional delivery fee that will be passed on to you.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WHILST EVERY EFFORT IS MADE TO MEET THE DELIVERY TIMES QUOTED ABOVE, WE DO NOT PROVIDE ABSOLUTE GUARANTEES. THIS IS BECAUSE BABYCUPCAKES USES REPUTABLE COURIERS, AND WHILST THEIR PROMPT AND EFFICIENT SERVICE IS USUALLY SECOND TO NONE, OCCASIONALLY DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES, DELAYS MAY OCCUR. WE CAN GUARANTEE THAT YOUR ORDER WILL LEAVE THE BABYCUPCAKES OFFICE ON TIME, BUT AFTER THAT.. WE TOO ARE IN THE COURIERS HANDS!
